It may be a bit clichéd to draw the analogy between business and sport but the reality is that we all tend to perform better when guided and coached by people who can help us better see how to exploit the hidden potential within ourselves. It just so happens that sport is a fairly transparent example, but just think back to your school days. Most of us have been inspired, helped or guided, in one direction or another, by a teacher and we have all been influenced by our parents.
